Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR Training

Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

The people behind Lionheart CPR:

Emily holds the following qualifications:

  • Red Cross First Aid & CPR Instructor

  • Red Cross Supervising Instructor

  • Red Cross Blended Learning Instructor

  • Red Cross Oxygen Administration Instructor

  • Red Cross Water Safety Instructor

  • Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management

Emily's very first job was with the Red Cross as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor. Over the years her First Aid training has been invaluable in helping her to respond to several medical emergencies in both her personal and professional life.

Emily has extensive experience teaching CPR and First Aid to many different groups of people. She ensures her students are comfortable with the course material so they are ready to react in an emergency and provide care in those critical moments before the paramedics arrive on the scene.

In an emergency, minutes matter, and Emily wants to make sure you are confident and prepared should you ever need to respond.

Michael holds the following qualifications:

  • Red Cross First Aid & CPR Instructor

  • Registered Kinesiologist

  • Certified Member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association (OKA)

  • Member of the Canadian Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation (CACR)

  • Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology

Michael knows the importance of CPR training first hand. On his 4th birthday Michael was found unconscious and non-breathing in a pool and was saved by his uncle, who was the only person trained in First Aid and CPR. Michael later went on to become a Red Cross Lifeguard and Swim Instructor, teaching at his community pool.

Currently Michael works in a Toronto hospital in cardiovascular rehabilitation, and sees the importance of First Aid training on a daily basis. He routinely works with heart attack and stroke patients who have had their lives saved by family, friends, and strangers who responded quickly when they were in need. Michael wants to make sure you are ready to act - you could save a life!
